Can site visitors purchase directly from the Herrolo website?

Purchases can only be made for membership subscriptions, event tickets, or EBW merchandise.

Purchases cannot be made with the brands listed within the Rolodex directly through our website. The Herrolo website is meant to be used as a guide or resource to finding a variety of women-owned businesses. It is not a marketplace because we believe in having the women in our network keep their profits in their pocket. Each of our listed brands are linked back to the business' official websites where their products &/or services may be purchased directly.

Does Herrolo receive any affiliate compensation when site visitors use the backlinks to shop from the brands listed on the rolodex?

No, Herrolo does not receive any compensation when site visitors shop from the brands listed in our Rolodex. We want all profits from those sales to go directly back to the women behind the brands.

Is this for businesses within the Bay Area only?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! While we're rooted in the Bay Area, we have Members nationwide.

Our Community is hybrid - meaning we offer both in-person events & support as well as have a robust digital platform for Members. Within our virtual space, we have workshops, coworking, networking, plus an intentionally designed space to connect with other members & constantly find & share new opportunities.

Is my business eligible to be listed on the Herrolo Rolodex?

To be considered eligible for our Rolodex, the business must meet the following requirements:

1. Have at least one owner that is a woman
2. Be actively operating
3. Be based in the U.S.
4. Have an active ecommerce site, booking link, or physical location
5. Not engage in practices or produce products/services that promote violence or hate of any kind

*We are not able to accept any MLM listings on the Rolodex at this time.

Is there a minimum time commitment as Members?

No, our Memberships are available in both monthly & annual plans. You may cancel your Membership at any time & your business will be removed from our Rolodex once your last paid month ends.

How do you promote the brands in your Rolodex?

Visibility is paramount for our platform because we know our visibility boosts your visibility. This is why we are utilizing various avenues to bring awareness to our platform & the Members within it.

SOCIAL MEDIA - All Members get featured in a New Member post on our social media feed. Depending on your Membership plan, you may be included in several other promotional posts. Through collaborative posts, we are able to leverage audiences beyond our own.

FLYERS - Our Herrolo flyers can be found within numerous storefronts in various cities & also at the booths of some of our Members who frequently vend at markets or host their own events. These flyers feature the QR code back to our website, photos of some of our Members & IG handles of Executive Members.

OTHER PRESS - Our Founder, Krystal Jugarap, has frequent press appearances via podcasts, magazines, digital publications, digital ads etc. where she is adamant about spreading the word & sharing our mission.

REFERRALS - We're the girls that'll say your name in a room full of opportunity. If we have someone looking for someone/something & you/your product/service fit the description, we won't hesitate to say so!

MEMBER COMMITMENT - Our Members are regularly referring back to the Rolodex first whenever they need to connect with other women/brands for resources, support, & collaboration.

How can I cancel my Membership?

You may cancel your Membership at any time by accessing your Member page & clicking the Account link. Your business will continue to be listed on the Rolodex until your last paid month has ended. We are not able to offer refunds for any past months.
